Tldr -- tasty traditional korean, fast friendly service.
We got family style bolgogi. Sides -- seaweed, kimchi, sprouts, beans, cucumbers, potatoes, tofu, radishes.
Bolgogi was marinated well. For those that don't know, when you order family style at Korean BBQ, you typically cook the meat at the table.
Delicious - seaweed, kimchi, radishes
Good - sprouts, cucumbers, tofu
Meh - beans tasted good, but way overcooked
Not so good - potatoes were boring.
If you have never experienced this, I recommend it. -

Go to other Korean places in Sacramento.
This place is extremely overpriced and doesn't have many side dishes. The fish dish only has one fish and a bowl of rice for a price of $17 after tax and tip. -

This place was ok...but I was not a fan. I didn't even eat my food.
The service was nice, she got my order a bit wrong but fixed it without fuss. I appreciated that greatly.
Still, my food was bland and cold. I ordered Bulgogi over rice with veggies, $12.99. Like I said, it was just plain cold. The rice was Luke-warm but the beef was cold, the egg was also and just not enjoyable. Also, the egg was over-hard so I couldn't mix it with the dish for flavor.
Very much a meh circumstance. I mean, it was edible and stuff, and not a bad experience, but I was expecting at least a semi-hot meal and maybe some basic flavor. Eating it wasn't worth the calories.
Also, never got any "sides" the advertised. -

Of course we've had way better Korean BBQ before, mainly in Sacramento, but if you are really craving Korean food in Davis, this is kind of the only place so for what it is, it's not bad. We ordered the seafood tofu soup which was okay. They give you a couple of banchan dishes with your food, a good variety. They give you refills of those when you run out which is pretty standard. The budae jigae was decent. I've definitely had better, but this was okay too. Not too spicy. The seafood tofu soup was a bit spicier. We also ordered the eel over rice which was decent, nothing special. They have lunch specials which is nice. There's Korean BBQ tables here, but I didn't get a chance to try that. I mean, like I said, if you are desperate for Korean food, this place will do. If you are really looking for great Korean food, you are probably better off going to Sacramento.

The only Korean restaurant in Davis, but not worth going even if you are craving korean food.
I had the spicy beef soup and bibimbap. Spicy beef soup did not have any taste at all, pretty much felt like I was eating and drinking straight water.
The kimchi fried rice at non korean restaurant Open Rice Kitchen might be better.
